The Ron Resch "Tetra-Ball" module is a folded, curved score line unit that is folded from one sheet. The free edges are jointed together to form a completely enclosed sculpted space. The geometric definition for the 3D folded edges and their associated developable surfaces for the assembled 4 units is derived from the inscribed circles in the faces of a regular tetrahedron. This unit was also used in one of Resch's visual screens called The Tetra-Ball Screen. This work was started in the 60's and continued into the 70's.
